So I thought I'd share it.

I'm interpreting THE ALL as Satan, who I see as THE ALL anyway. The Kyballion, which is a Hermetic text, teaches that everything that exists, exists in the Mind of THE ALL. Everything is a Mental creation.

Death is not real, even in the relative sense, it is but birth to a new life, and you shall go on, and on, and on to higher and still higher planes of life, for aeon's upon aeon's of time. The universe is your home, and you shall explore it to the farthest recesses before the end of time. You are dwelling in the infinite mind of THE ALL, and your possibilities and opportunities are infinite, both in time and space. At the end of the grand cycle of Aeon's when THE ALL shall draw back into itself all of its creations, you will go gladly for you will then be able to know the whole truth of being at one with THE ALL.

Catch up!

Seems I'm making a habit of going away for a short time, sorry about that. Good news is I have passed my Exams even the one I was a bit worried about. I'm even being allowed to get into Honours despite being 1 point short of the required B, so that's great news. Thinking I wasn't going to be allowed into honours I had already come up with my Dissertation idea ( the Dissertation itself is voluntary and shorter for those not going into Honours)My idea is this

How has the study of Demonology within the Abrahamic faiths, affected it's growth and teaching?

It's been approved as my topic but now I don't have to start it until next year.

I celebrated the Rite to Flereous on Monday by attending a Vegan potluck. Lucifer is the Demon of Knowledge. But this rite also celebrates my ( knowingly) coming back to Demonolatry and my realisation that I never really left it. Let me explain.

Throught out my years as a theistic Satanist I have belived in the Demons and have called on them in time of need and celebrated them on their specific holidays, yet I never called myself a Demonolatress. In fact I would have said I was a Henotheist, I believed in the existence of other Gods but worshiped only one ( Satan) But the last month has had me thinking that this was not quite correct. I had a long hard think about what I believed and even asked my self to explain (out loud) what it is I believe, when I did so it was abundantly clear to me I am a Demonolatress ( even though I probably can't spell it correctly) Sure I may well plow my own field when it comes to the practise but the fact is still a fact. I am more than happy to call my self a Demonolatress and I'm more than happy to call my self a Theistic Satanist as both are true.

So this years 1st rite to Lucifer was special.

An older post on So what have I been up too? Well I've started at the university of Glasgow doing Theology and religious studies. And I'm not doing too badly either. Have come up against the usual "God hates Gays" people but that's to be expected in a department where many are training for the ministry. Thankfully not all the xians in the dept have this attitude. I'm very much enjoying studying the bible it's fascinating. I'm keeping my own religious beliefs to myself not that I'm ashamed of being a Satanist in anyway but I don't honestly think it would benefit me in anyway to be open about it ( that's not to say I wont say anything in the future) So when i am asked what my religion is I just say pagan.

I fully believe that Satan wants me to be doing this course and that it's all part of a bigger plan but I just don't know what that plan is. I know personally when I graduate I would love to start my own online/offline church for him. As there are no British based satanic churches. The Internet seems to be full of American and Canadian Satanist organizations so mine would certainly be filling a gap. But that's a long way off yet. So for now I'm happy with just plodding on with my wee website ( whch is badly needing updating) and doing my religious/spiritual coaching which I love doing and have met some lovely people in the process.

819
Rev Laura

A big shout out!

I have this groovy software that lets me track where all my visitors to my website come from. This is from a Christian, you know the people that follow the religion of peace and love, those that are meant to love everyone like they were their brother/sister. Then he went on to start a thread about wanting to burn Gays and he also said he could find where we lived by our email addresses and when he did find us he wanted to kill us. Nice and loving eh? Needless to say I banned the guy and deleted the vast majority of his posts.

I have no problem with non-Satanists ( all my close friends are Atheist or agnostic) I have no problem with Christians, I judge a person on their actions and on their words I refuse to judge based on religion. But this guy is a total Wanker, he just happens to be a christian wanker. I have met many a Satanist Wanker also. Sometimes Religion can bring out the inner idiot.

You may have noticed that the Baphomet has gone from the side of the blog. I have replaced it with the "Om" sign as it actually means more to me than the Baph. "Om" means " The lord is infinite" I feel that represent Satan much more than the Baph ( in my opinion anyway) There is another reason I chose it but it is much more personal so I wont share it here.

Aw that's nice.

A couple of months ago I decided to move the content from my webpage ( on wetpaint) to a new site as I just wanted a change. This was the best thing I could have done as I am getting so many emails from people commenting about the site, many saying that it was nice to see a non Satanic looking site but still being Satanic ( if that makes sense) that certainly was the look I was going for, I have nothing against black n red sites but I wanted mine to be a bit diffrent. My site still needs some attention, just silly things like getting rid of the guest book and perhaps the forum as I have no time to police it and I also want to correct the grammer and punctuation lol. but my correct and ACTUAL correct are 2 diffrent things. So a huge thanks to everyone that has visited it and been kind enough to email me.

Fitna the movie-My review

The dutch MP and film maker geert Wilders, has been banned from entering the UK for making a short film about Islam because here in the UK freedom of speech is great unless it's something that we don't want to hear. I watched this movie earlier today and I got to say it's a great example of rising up against the radical, extremist views and actions of the minority of Muslims. Although Wilders take is defiantly anti ALL Islam and Idea which fills me with horror. I don't pretend to be a big fan of the religion but then I'm not a big fan of any of the religions of Abraham but to stop people from following any religion because I have issues with it is just crazy. Wilders has done ( with this film) what many people do ( of any and of no religion) and that is take the bit's from the religious text ( in this case the Quran) and made it fit their purpose. Of course the extremest element in Islam had done exactly what they do best and send death threats to him. Sadly Muslims can be Islam's own worst enemy after all this movie was about how the Quran calls Muslims to violence so what do the angry Muslims do? They send death threats, yeah that will show those stupid Kafir! What I would love to see is a Muslim making a counter video showing the good Sura's of the Quran and showing footage of Muslims doing good things. Don't just sit back and moan that people are being Anti-Muslims, go kick some butt and change things. If you don't make an effort to change public opinion, do you really have a right to complain?

watch the movie here This version is the 1st version. He updated it later by taking the danish cartoon down ( copyright reasons) and he had the wrong photo to go with a name. Neither of which detractd from the movie.

NHS and prayer

There is a nurse in Britain that is facing the sack because she asked a patient if they wanted her to pray for them (It's against NHS policy for a health care professional to promote their religious beliefs) The patient decline her offer but it was a fellow nurse that reported her. Personally I feel that she in no way deserves the sack, sure she broke the rules but suspension should be enough. If I was the patient I would not be offended if a nurse offerd to pray for me, I would decline the offer but would feel comforted that someone cared enough to ask. I have on at least 2 occasions been offended by a prayer offer but the situations were very different. When someone offers to pray for you because they disagree with your sexuality or your choice of religion then you have every right to get offended. But this situation with the nurse is so different. I hope she keeps her job.

A prayer for a death

Father Satan, This life has ended but the journey has only just begun. Apparently when it was first performed it was to take the mickey out of the priesthood ( although I feel those pointy hats did that already) and the words about putting left hand in and left hand out etc were all about the movements the priest made during the mass ritual. So the Catholic church want this song banned and especially baned and football matches for fear it will be used as sectarian chanting. My feeling on this are 1. Very few people knew the original reason for this song, for the vast majority it is a fun song sung at parties for many, many years. 2. The song has been sung on the football terraces for years so to ban it now would be unfair.3. Nobody would have know about it's original meaning if the church had not told them, they are creating trouble when there was none previously.

So my words to the catholic church are these. I will stop singing "The Hockey Cockey" if you allow the use of Condom's in high AIDS countries, I will stop singing "The Hockey Cockey" if you allow women to become priests and I will stop singing "The Hockey Cockey" if you stop covering up for the emotional, physical and sexual abuse of the children in the churches care over the years. This time of year we, Pagans, look back on our year and be thankful for all experiences we have had, be them good or bad. We also start thinking of the future and what we plan to achieve in the coming year. For me I know that I want to be more pro-active in my Religion, I want to make more of an effort to celebrate Rite's, rituals and Holidays. I feel that over the past year all those have been put aside for no real reason well perhaps laziness. I have been so caught up in the mundane things in life that the spiritual has been forgotten and for me the spiritual is just as important. Sure I pray every day and I help others with their religious and spiritual problems but i have neglected my own spiritual side. So the new year for me will bring balance and that is good.

An awesome pro- Christian rant

This is from the American comedian Margret Cho. It truly is a great read. In between the jokes and the swearing she really does have some amazing things to say. You can tell that her dad was a minister.

I’m a Christian, you FuckersAll kinds of Christians are getting mad about my Sarah Palin comments, and it is pissing me off.First of all – you fucking fake Christians - don’t fucking question my Christianity. I grew up in the church. My grandfather was a minister, who is with God now and talks to me in my dreams from God’s corner office. I am a former Sunday school teacher. I taught the Bible to children and showed them how to love God and invite him into their hearts. I believe in God – but I don’t fear him. God is my best friend. God is my ally. God is my boyfriend. God is my best fag. I am God’s fag hag cuz didn’t you know, God is a big fag. Serious bottom too. Butch in the streets, femme in the sheets. That is my God. God is my biggest fan. God gets me, dude.God wants us all to just get along. He doesn’t give a shit about the profanity. The bitch fucking invented profanity. He thinks it is hilarious. He just wants you to talk to him, and he doesn’t care what you have to say. He just wants to keep the conversation going. Like Jay-Z,he just wants to love you. He just wants you to be able to make your own decisions. God is all about you and what you need. God is happy that you are gay. God made you fucking gay cuz he thinks it is awesome. God understands if you need to have an abortion. That is why he created abortion, on the 8th day. God accepts. God forgives. God loves all of us, even though some of us might have a problem with each other.Don’t fucking question my Christianity you fucking idiot assholes. If you continue to have a problem, then talk to God about it, not me, you fucking racist homophobic misogynist fake Christian shitheads. God thinks it is funny that I swear so much. He said I could use his name in vain or whatever. He just wants me to use it. He loves me. So fuck you. And I guess he loves you too. Even though you are fake Christian assholes. If you were truly Christians, you would let gays get married, and send them fucking presents from Bed Bath and Beyond! If you truly believed in Jesus, you would try to be like him and love us, fags and dykes and feminists all. God bless you, even you. You fucking fuckers.

Everyone is a critic.....................................

and every theistic satanist is a sermon writing minister. Well most Satanists anyway. This is one aspect of the scene i really love, we all have something to say and you know what? we damn well say it. Even if (like me) the punctuation is a bit off, the spelling is a bit shabby or the fact that most of what we have to say has been said before. We don't let any of that stop us and why should it? After all there is nothing new under the sun (as some person once said) Many of us are also becoming ordained in the "Universal life church" or institutions that are equivalent. which is fantastic as we are joining an organization that actively embraces religious difference and seeing that as a good thing. Everyone of us (regardless of religious beliefs) have the right to share their beliefs with people but of course we should not force people to listen nor should we force them to believe what we believe. How boring would that kind of world be?

Censorship

I'm writing this edition of my blog from a library in the great city of Glasgow. During a surfing stint on the net I thought I would check out my website to see if i had a message from my mate Richard. Only to find that my site has been banned by the Glasgow council. One can only assume it is because it has Satan in it's title and satanist in it's web address. What annoyed me more was that, while looking for info for a uni essay; i typed in christian and got gazillion of sites so much for freedom of religion. By banning my site it makes it look like i have some really dodgy copy on it. I don't feel i do. Wonder if I had "Satan" in my blog title, if they would have banned me?

There is a guy next to me booking tickets for a play, on his blackberry and he is reading aloud his credit card number lol if only i was a fast typer, I would be booking tickets to Bali lol

819

The Sikh girl

I think it's disgraceful that Sarika Singh won her court case against her school, for excluding her for wearing her religious bracelet. The school had a policy that no jewelry other than a watch and stud earrings should be worn on school premises. She knew this when she started at the school. She should have went and studied else where. She has made herself stand put from the crowd which is normally not a bad thing but in this case, it will cause her much grief. She has shown that she is not prepared to integrate into secular society, people get nervous and suspicious of people who deliberately segregate themselves. Look at the Jews as an example, much anti-semitism was cause by their instance of separatism from non Jews. So what is so special about this bracelet then?

The bangle is used to represent infinity therefore God, many Sikhs say that when it (The bangle) hits against something, they are reminded of God's existence and of his love. The bangle forms part of "The 5 K's" that are worn by Sikhs that follow the khalsa brand of Sikhism. The 5 k's are

Kesh (uncut hair)

Kangha ( comb)

Kirpan (Sword)

Kachh (Cotton breeches)

Kara (Bangle)

Interestingly the "Kara" was not one of the K's until the 17th century.

This isn't an anti-Sikhism post, on the contrary I really like Sikhism. I just feel that now the world is becoming more and more integrated religiously we need to have places where religion is not an issue and schools ( apart from R.E lessons) should be that place. Rules should apply to everyone. Or the rules should be changed.

819

Cosmic ordering

Recently I bought a book all about Cosmic ordering. It was the book that gave Noel Edmonds the chance to re-start his career . It is actully a very good read and it's a short book which is always good. Basiclly it teaches that you can have anything you want as long as you ask the cosmos for it. For example before you go out to the supermarket, you could aks the cosmos to let you get a
parking space when you get there. Aparently it (Cosmic ordering) works better with happy people, as the univesre likes happy people. I haven't tried it yet but I will soon. I might even post the results here.

819

This weekend

This weekend is chalk full of religious holidays. Thanks to Easter being so early this year, apparently it is the earliest it's been for 70 years! So this weekend Christians celebrate along side Wiccan's and Demonolaters. (bet they love that lol)
So:
Happy Easter
Happy Ostara
And
Happy Rite to Lucifer

Here is my prayer to Lucifer.

Lord Lucifer, it's with your gifts of knowledge,
that have brought me out of the darkness and into the ever bright light,
With you I can see the future, and have the strength to face what ever comes my way
Hail to Spring, Hail New beginnings.
Hail Lucifer!

Belphegore

I did a small ritual a few months ago to the Demon "Belphegore" who is the demon of financial matters (amongst other things) basically i just wanted help with finance. Ever since the rite, i have been more organized and i have been better at budgeting. But today I got a pay rise at work and the opportunity to learn new skills which will increase my pay in the coming year. You may ask why a Satanist would want to work with demons, and Aren't demons evil, scary etc? So here is a quick lesson Demonloatry 101

Demonolatry is the worship of Demons

Demons are "Divine intelligence replete with wisdom"

Demonology is the study of demons

Demons are not seen as evil by Demonolaters (that is a christian myth)

Most demons were pre-chrstian gods

The 2 most popular Demonolatry pantheons are "The Goetic" and "Dukante"

Satan is the head (for want of a better word) of all the demon pantheons.

All demonoaters ARE theistic satanists, but most prefer Demonolater

Not all theistic Satanists are demonolaters

Buffy,Charmed etc are NOT accurate portrayals of demons

Respect the Demons and they will respect you.

Demonolatry is a nature based relgion

To some the demons are real deities

To some they are mearly energy

The self is also worshiped

Demonolaters work to find the personal divine that is in us all

Demonolaters do not belive in "Good" or "Evil" but see things in shades of grey

Each and every demon is a part of us and we them.

Everything in the earth is interconnected.

Hermetic philopophy is important (and a base) of demonolatry

So that was your little lesson for today :O) Next time basic Hermetics!

I personally do not call my self a demonolater but i do believe in it,most of my religious views are the same as those found in demonolatry, i celebrate the holidays. I just prefer calling myself a theistic satanist.

I have had an article I wrote on "life coaching and demonolatry" published in this magazine (you can dowload it for free from this site http://www.lulu.com/content/759108 I have also had a prayer published in a demonolatry prayer book which can be downloaded free here http://www.lulu.com/content/282790

Hail Belphegore!

A Joke

While I disagree with the portrayal of Satan in this joke, it's still pretty funny. If you substitute "Satan" for " Jehovah" it's more realistic portryal of the bible god than to my old man.

Just minutes before the church services started the towns people were sitting in their pews and talking. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon everyone had exited the church except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So Satan walked up to the old man and said, 'Don't you know who I am?'The man replied, 'Yep, sure do.''Aren't you afraid of me?' Satan asked.'Nope, sure ain't' said the man.'Don't you realize I can kill you with a word?' asked Satan.'Don't doubt it for a minute,' returned the old man in an even tone.'Did you know that I could cause you profound, horrifying, physical agony forever?''Yep,' was the calm reply.'And you're still not afraid?' asked Satan.'Nope '. 'More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, 'well, why aren't you afraid of me?'The man calmly replied, 'been married to your sister for 45 years.'

Quaker's

I am a huge fan of the Christian denomination know as "The religious society of friends" AKA Quaker's. I love that they see God in everybody, which is pretty "Hermetic" view for Christians, I love that they have no minister at their meetings so everyone is equal and all have a chance to participate in their service. I love that they do not hold the bible as the be all and end all of belief, they look into themselves, their inner light for guidance. Most of them support the right to hold differing religious beliefs from one and other. A great example of this was told to me the other day by my Quaker friend "Pete" (A fellow ULC member) He is a nurse in a hospital in England and he is also on the Chaplaincy rota for the hospital. All the Chaplin's were having a meeting about how people should be treated spiritually while in hospital. They (the group) said that Satanists should be banned outright from working in the hospital. Pete actually stood up and defended Satanists on the grounds that everyone deserves the right to spiritual counselling if needed. How great was that? What a guy!!!

The symbol of Baphomet

Recently I have taken to adopting the symbol of Baphomet (see pic at side of blog) as my religious symbol of choice. I hesitated for a year or so because I felt that it was very much taken over by Modern Satanists; but now I feel that we (trad Satanists) have the right to wear it too. I have it as a pendant but i chose not to wear it over my clothes to often, as i feel i want the symbol for myself as a personal statement. Also i have never been big on wearing religious jewellery full stop.
A couple of people I have talked to have thought the symbol was scary, while i can see why they think that. I don't think it is any more scary than having a dead man hanging from a cross around you neck. The Baphomet (to me) is a symbol of freedom, of personal power, of loving life, of true free will and of Independence. Yes the Crucifix also stands for some great things, forgiveness of sin, of love but it is also a symbol of fear, of guilt and of violence. I like my symbol better.
